Martin Luther King Font Update #30

August 2022

Dear reader reader,

You downloaded the Martin Luther King handwriting font. Usually, every month I publish an updated version for you to download. 💥Unfortunately, I broke my arm two weeks ago, so the next font update moved to early September.

I do not want to skip without notice, and instead of a font update, I'd like to share three resources regarding Martin Luther King jr. I hope you find the material interesting!

Do you know of some online resources you'd like to share? Reply to this email, and I'd love to look at them.

Thank you, and have an enjoyable August!

Podcast Tip: The World House

I highly recommend this podcast to you. Dr. Clayborne Carson is the director of the King Papers Project and Editor of Dr. King’s Autobiography. When I started making the font, I reached out to Carson to recommend manuscripts for my research on King's handwriting. One resource I continuously used is "An Autobiography of Religious Development". In Episode 3, "Crozer Theological Seminary," Carson explains why this manuscript is so important.

The 21 episodes are very well produced, and it is a pleasure to listen to. The structure of the episodes seems to be oriented to the Autobiography Carson wrote on King. So, on one hand, the podcast gives you a detailed overview of Dr. King's life, and on top, you get updated on the current research status.
