I have separated the font projects from myself as a person and artist, intending to bring more focus to the work and grow the historic handwriting font projects into a sustainable business and perhaps a cultural institution.

The Martin Luther King handwriting font was used in the National Geographic TV Series Geniuses: MLK/X to recreate a handwritten letter from King to his parents. I did not know about it, and you can imagine how surprised I was to see the font on screen. While this is an excellent example showcasing the usage of historic handwriting fonts, it showed me some points that could be improved in the design…
