Martin Luther King Font Update

#40 - more vowels.

February 2024

Dear reader reader,

As previously announced in the January update, the Martin Luther King font has a new digital home: the digital handwriting font library, handwriting.digital. The latest version of the font will not be available through your account at haraldgeisler.com anymore. To access the updated Martin Luther King font, you must register for free on the new site.

I have separated the font projects from myself as a person and artist, intending to bring more focus to the work and grow the historic handwriting font projects into a sustainable business and perhaps a cultural institution.
Head over to handwriting.digital and register to download the updated font.
The new version will appear in your font menu as “Martin Luther King 2024 February.” I recommend uninstalling older versions to keep your font menu organized. The next update will arrive in early February.

Following update #39, the February version continues adding more vowels to the Martin Luther King, Jr. handwriting font, specifically variations for the letters e, o, and u. In future updates, I will focus on completing all vowel variations for the font.
I am experimenting with the design of the updates. I am trying to put all the information on the new website so it is publicly available. This has the advantage that you can leave a comment on the update! I'd love to hear your thoughts.

A-big-Thank-you
I want to take some space to thank everybody who supported the font creation this month. This update is possible because of the financial support of 22 people from around the world:
